24 week appt

I had my appt yesterday. I met with a different dr since mine was on vacation. She was really nice. I made sure to tell her I want an epidural in case she happened to be on call during my delivery, and she laughed and said she fully believes in epidurals! yay!

My weight is good, blood pressure good. Baby's heartbeat was 144, and he was moving around a lot...even kicked the doppler! I have a little bit of protein in my urine, but said it's not a concern. I'm measuring 22 weeks right now. I need to get another u/s (a regular one this time) to check growth.

But all in all it's good. No problems or issues. My next appt is the Monday after Thanksgiving. I will have my Rhogham shot then, along with the 1 hour glucose test. fun fun. LOL

Things are progressing well!

24 weeks

Things are going great! I'm feeling really good and all seems to be going well! I've gained another pound this week..making the total 7.5 pounds so far. It's most likely all baby since you can't tell I'm pg anywhere else!

I feel him moving around a lot! He seems most active around 6am, and 8-11pm. Of course, when I'm resting! haha

Not much to say this week. It's been a good week and no problems at all! I will have a belly pic soon...have to have dh take one!

22 weeks

My dr has cleared me of all restrictions since the u/s was good! woo hoo!!

It has been a busy week and I've barely had time to anaylize how I feel! I'm still feeling great! My belly seems to be getting bigger. I gained half a pound and had a craving of caramal corn! LOL

I picked out and ordered the crib bedding and am in the process of picking a color to paint the nursery. The renovations are being done tomorrow!

I also discovered that Walmart carries preemie diapers and clothes! I will be picking out a coming home outfit soon!

All is good!

21 weeks

This week went really fast! Of course, part of that is because I've been really busy, and I had the appt with the high risk peri yesterday.

I've been feeling really good and have more energy. My appetite is still pretty good...I've been eating like crazy, which would explain why I've gained another pound and a half this week! I also feel bigger! My belly is measuring about the same, from what I can tell, but I definitely feel bigger.

He is moving around a lot now! His most active time is 7pm-11pm! Go figure. Looks like I may not get much sleep when he's born!! haha If I pull up my shirt and stare at my belly I can see little kicks once in a while.

Dh and I went to Babies R Us yesterday in Brookfield (we were up that way anyway for the appt at Froedtert) and looked around. They are the only place I know of locally that sells preemie clothes! I didn't buy anything, but was awfully tempted! I'm sure we will be needing some. We have a few from Ryan, but can always use more clothes! LOL

I'm more excited now! I'm really excited about doing the registry and ordering the bedding and picking out names! All stuff we will be working on in the next 2 months or so.

So all is going great!

My appt with the peri

My u/s went great! It wasn't 3D like I had hoped, but it was a more advanced 2D u/s. I was able to see the 4 chambers of the heart and valves and everything. Pretty amazing. Baby was moving around quite a bit too! Anyway, I had the tech confirm if it was boy or girl....definitely BOY! got a good money shot this time and no doubt about it being a boy! LOL Also the dr said that there is NO previa!!!! So it either moved in the past week or it was a false positive last week. Yay!!

And as far as the baby's size...he measured only 8 days behind this time, and the peri said that it falls in the normal side of small. Nothing to really worry about. I'm most likely going to have a small baby...he's guessing around 5 and half pounds. Right now I still have the ban on sex....until my OB gets the results and tells me otherwise. I won't be going back to a peri unless otherwise specififed...since all looks good and healthy!! yay!!! Praise God!!! I feel so relieved that all looks good!!!
